When was Colleo founded?
Colleo was born in 2013 in France, thanks to the meeting of two minds, determined to create a meaningful experience with online fundraising.
Eric is the engineer behind Colleo strategy, communication and administration and Diego is the magician behind the web platform. Creating an online fundraising platform which allowed users to make small donations to charities made complete sense to them. It is clear now that it makes sense to a lot more people. Indeed, Colleo is celebrating its 3rd year this month.
What’s going on now?
Pierre, developer, and Camille, marketing specialist, have joined Colleo recently, and both are willing to develop the fundraising platform and unleash its potential.
The fundraising activity is quite competitive with actors supported by banks and financial organisations. In order to face this challenge, and grow, Colleo has acquired the activity of a similar platform: Yoongo, which was operating in France, Ireland and Italy.
In addition, Colleo is now building a website to meet international opportunities. The Colleo website is in progress for the United Kingdom and will be live very soon. UK users will be able to use Colleo with the British Pound and donate to UK charities.
What’s next for Colleo?
Colleo has just been given the social and solidarity enterprise label in France. These values have always been in Colleo’s DNA. Whatever Colleo’s future is, we will keep evolving with these values.
